About EV Rebate

EV Rebate is a service of Cedarlane Incentives Inc., a small Canadian company based in Toronto. By placing each car's Canadian price beside the federal EV rebate list and the provincial programs, we give a buyer one figure: the price after rebates in their home region.

How We Work Out the Price After Rebates

  1. We start from the car's Canadian MSRP for that trim.
  2. We take off the federal EVAP rebate if the car is on Transport Canada's list and the deal stays at $50,000 or less (no limit for a car built in Canada).
  3. We take off the provincial rebate where one is open and the car passes its rules: in Quebec a sticker price of $65,000 or less, in Manitoba $70,000 or less and no Tesla.

The result is an estimate before freight, fees, options and taxes. Your dealer's bill of sale sets the final price.

Sources for the Numbers

The dealer takes the federal rebate off at the sale, and Quebec's Roulez vert too. In Manitoba you apply to Manitoba Public Insurance after you buy. Check the amounts on the bill of sale before signing.

What We Are Not

This site is not run by the government, and we operate no rebate programs of any kind. Here, the programs are described by their names, for example EVAP, iZEV and Roulez vert.
