- Price limit: before tax, the price cannot exceed $50,000, but there is no limit for a car built in Canada.
- Made in: Canada, or a country with a trade deal with Canada.
- Getting the rebate: sign one consent form at a dealer registered for the program. The dealer then deducts the rebate from the bill.
- Leases: any term lasting 48 months (4 years) or more receives the full amount.
- One per person: each person can receive one rebate.
