Federal rebate rules

  • The price limit before tax is $50,000, but there is no limit for a car built in Canada.
  • Manufacturing location: Canada or another country with a trade deal with Canada.
  • To receive it, sign one consent form at a dealer registered for the program. The dealer then subtracts the rebate from the bill.
  • Lease terms: leases lasting 48 months (4 years) or longer receive the full amount.
  • Each person can receive one rebate, so the limit is one rebate per person.
