Subaru Trailseeker Rebate Questions
Under Canada's EV rebate, is the Subaru Trailseeker eligible?
Yes, it does. One Subaru Trailseeker trim appears on Transport Canada's EVAP list. At $49,995, the 2027 Trailseeker Touring receives a $5,000 dealer deduction, as long as its final price before tax remains $50,000 or less.
What is the Subaru Trailseeker's price after rebates in each province?
With another $2,000 deducted in Quebec, the price becomes $42,995; Manitoba has another $4,000 deducted, bringing the price to $40,995. In all other locations, applying only the federal rebate sets the 2027 Trailseeker Touring price at $44,995.
When January 1, 2027 arrives, how will the Subaru Trailseeker price change?
On that date, EVAP drops to $4,000. The 2027 Trailseeker Touring then stands at $45,995, compared with $44,995 in 2026. The amount depends on the year when your dealer submits the rebate claim, rather than when you receive the vehicle.
Can you still get the rebate for a Subaru Trailseeker lease?
Yes, you can. For terms of 48 months or longer, leases receive the full $5,000. A 36-month term qualifies for $3,750, 24 months for $2,500, and 12 months for $1,250. The dealer applies the deduction to a lease in the same way as a purchase.
