Kia EV6 Rebate Questions

Does the Kia EV6 qualify under Canada's EV rebate?

That is correct. Transport Canada's EVAP list contains one Kia EV6 trim. The dealer deducts $5,000 from the $48,995 price of the 2025 EV6 Light RWD if the final price before tax remains $50,000 or less.

What is the Kia EV6 price after rebates in each province?

Quebec takes another $2,000 off for a total of $41,995, while Manitoba subtracts another $4,000 for $39,995. In every other location, only the federal rebate applies, reducing the 2025 EV6 Light RWD price to $43,995.

What happens to the Kia EV6 price on January 1, 2027?

On that date, EVAP drops to $4,000, raising the 2025 EV6 Light RWD price from $43,995 in 2026 to $44,995. The amount depends on the year when your dealer submits the rebate claim, rather than when you receive the vehicle.

Can you still earn the rebate with a Kia EV6 lease?

It does. The full $5,000 goes to leases running 48 months or longer, and leases of 36, 24 or 12 months earn $3,750, $2,500 and $1,250. For a purchase, the dealer deducts it the same way.

In Canada, what does the Kia EV9 cost, and is it on the rebate list?

With a Canadian sticker price of $59,995, the 2026 Kia EV9 Light RWD does not appear on Transport Canada's EVAP list. Even its lowest trim already goes over the $50,000 cap.
