Federal rebate requirements
- Price limit: Before tax, the price cannot exceed $50,000, but cars built in Canada have no limit.
- Manufacturing location: The car must be built in Canada or in a country with a trade agreement with Canada.
- How to receive it: Sign one consent form at a dealer registered for the program, and the dealer deducts the rebate from your bill.
- Leases: A term of 48 months (4 years) or longer receives the full amount.
- Each person can receive one rebate.
